Reading ... thoughts from C. S. Lewis

Writers are first of all readers, and C. S. Lewis offers good advice. It's great to read books by today's authors - and all of us Christian e-authors certainly want people to read our books!

But Lewis recommends reading one classic book for every three modern books. Rather than reading what someone today says about a great classic written centuries ago, we should read the original author's words. C. S. Lewis also recommends reading theological works as devotionals.

More about this subject on my blog.

Great advice. I think I'll do just that. Thanks!
